Terms of use
Last updated: 7 November 2026
These terms apply when you use Family Planner (familyplanner.online), a free family planner run by its developer, an individual rather than a company. By using it you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it. Questions: privacy@familyplanner.online.
The service
Family Planner is free. Features may change over time. If we ever have to stop the service, we'll give notice in the app or by email whenever we can, so you have time to download your data.
Your account
- You need to be an adult (18, or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. Children use the planner through a parent's account.
- Keep your password private, and only share your family code with people you want in your family. You can remove accounts and make a new code in Settings.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account and for the information you add about your family, including your children.
Using it fairly
Use Family Planner to organise your own family. Please don't:
- try to get into another family's planner or anyone else's account,
- try to break, overload or get around the protections of the service, or sign up accounts automatically,
- store anything illegal or harmful, or use the service for commercial purposes.
We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.
Your content
What you put into the planner stays yours. You allow us to store and process it only so we can run the planner for you, as described in the privacy policy.
Keep your own copy
We work to keep your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be lost. You can download a copy at any time with Settings → Download backup.
No guarantees
The service is provided “as is”, without guarantees of any kind. It may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. Reminders depend on your device and its settings and may not always appear, so don't rely on Family Planner for anything urgent, medical or safety-critical.
Liability
As far as the law allows, the developer isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the law that can't be excluded.
Ending
You can stop using Family Planner and delete your account at any time in Settings → Family sync → Delete account.
Changes
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and tell you in the app or by email if the change is important. Continuing to use Family Planner after a change means you accept the new terms.
